Tony Baltimore returns with tight, punk influenced new single ‘Rats’. Following ‘Yesterday’s News’, the second single to come from the upcoming new album Hello Bordello released via Conch Town Records, ‘Rats’ gives another exciting look at the upcoming full project.
An explosive soundscape of fuzzy guitar tones, tight rhythms and tight, urgent vocal delivery, ‘Rats’ shows the more expressive, intense side to Baltimore’s writing. Also putting an emphasis on the energy of his live performances, the track released is accompanied by a striking live performance video, showcasing just how well rehearsed and emphatic his live band are.
Speaking about the track, Tony explains:“I’ve never been a fan of doing what is expected of me. Or trying to recreate something that has already been done or I’ve done already. ‘Rats’ is really an attempt to push myself creatively into new territory. It doesn’t hurt that it’s hilariously fun to play live as well!”
Working with renowned producer Ian Shaw (Primal Scream, Nick Heyward, Kevin Rowland) and releasing via Conch Town Records, Baltimore has gained a whole host of press notoriety from the likes of Earmilk, RnR Magazine, Clout, Americana Highways as well as radio play across the UK and US. Having made a name for himself as a hard working, hugely passionate artist playing up to 8 shows a week in his home city of Key West, Tony has already proved that his dedication to his art and undeniable talents as an artist.
